I love at least 1 walk a day, sometimes 2 or even 3. Get me in the right headspace before we leave and I'll walk like a good boy 99% of the time.

I’m pretty flexible and chilled. I’ve never had a set routine. I can get up at 5am, or stay in bed until around 9.
Some key bits that my humans said we should document, but didnt fit anywhere else.

I go between acting like a toddler a teenager and a gentleman. I’d never mean to hurt you but I’m clumsy sometimes and can get a bit excited. A firm “gentle” or “enough” will calm me down.Â
I’ve a gentle mouth when playing, it’s my claws you need to watch, I sometimes paw when playing and you have to watch out!
Let me know you have the treats and no matter the circumstances you will have my attention.
Belly rubs, bum rubs, ear rubs, under the chin rubs, top of my head rubs, back rubs, general rubs, it’s me, it’s all about me. If I’m not playing, eating or sleeping then I’ll be needing attention of some sort!
I’ll sleep most nights from around 9pm-6am on a usual night. I’ll then sleep on and off thorughout that day. In various locations and positions, often seeking out any direct sunlight. All in, I probably sleep around 18-20 hours every 24hr.
I don’t like some dogs some times. There’s no logic to this. I could walk past a dog today and ignore it, tomorrow I might decide I’m going to have a bark. 95% of the time, I ignore all other dogs after a cursory glance.Â
I don’t bark often. If I do there’s a reason.
But once I’m in full play mode I can be a bit vocal. I sneeze when I get excited or I’m enjoying things, I might play-growl, grumble, play-bark, full-bark, howl or snap the air.
If I need your attention I might rest my heavy head on the arm of your chair or even on you. Then stare into your soul until you acknowledge that I need something.
I’ll need to know the boundaries. Tell me not to jump up at the kitchen bench once, tell me not to go on the sofa once, set my boundaries the first time – and I usuaully get it!Â
If you put my blanket on a chair or sofa I’ll know that’s my bit 🙂
I know exactly what I should do. Most of the time I do it. But, you have to ‘tell’ me, not ‘ask’ me to do stuff. I respond best to the intention in the words rather than volume.
